Breadalbane Finance is delighted to return as the main sponsor of the Women’s Competition at the 2026 Howden Melrose Sevens, marking a third consecutive year of partnership with Melrose Rugby.
The Breadalbane Doddie Claymore Competition has become a standout feature of the tournament, bringing together top women’s sides from across the UK at the iconic Greenyards and showcasing the very best of the women’s game on one of rugby’s biggest stages.
At Breadalbane Finance, everything we do is built around The Breadalbane Way – taking the time to build real relationships, understand people properly and support them with solutions that genuinely fit their needs. It’s about doing things the right way, not just the quick way.
That approach extends beyond business and into our long-term commitment to rugby. Alongside our support for the Women’s Competition, we are also proud partners of the Melrose Rugby Academy, helping to develop and support the next generation of players at grassroots level.
Our continued involvement with the Howden Melrose Sevens reflects a genuine partnership with Melrose Rugby and the wider rugby community. We are proud to play a part in an event that celebrates tradition, competition and community in equal measure.
As Jamie Lindsay, Founder and CEO of Breadalbane Finance, explains:
“Supporting the Women’s Competition at Melrose is something we’re really proud of. It’s a fantastic platform for the game and reflects a lot of what we believe in at Breadalbane – backing people, building relationships and doing things properly. That’s what The Breadalbane Way is all about.”
We look forward to another brilliant year at the Greenyards and to seeing the Women’s Competition continue to grow as part of this historic tournament.
